The generosity of those who give to Hard Hats with Heart will enable the American Heart Association to continue our work of funding groundbreaking research, developing guidelines to improve patient care, and help educate our community and key industries on how to lower their risk factors for heart disease and stroke. The funds raised at this event will continue to support the AHA in research, education, and community outreach programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Together, we can save lives.

Heart disease is still the number one killer of Americans and stroke the number five. We know that our most challenging work lies ahead of us and that we are the organization that can meet the challenge with partners like you.

In 2010, we set a bold 2020 Impact Goal - to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20%, while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20% by the year 2020. Hard Hats with Heart will help us achieve this goal. We are proud that our organization aligns everything we do under this priority for maximum impact and efficiency.
