A Message From Our Chairman

I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Celebrate with Heart Executive Leadership Team and 2016 Wine Gala & 1980’s Grand Tasting. But, I’m most proud to be able to help support the life-saving work of the American Heart Association (AHA).

The Celebrate With Heart Wine Gala is the culmination of a year-long fundraising effort to generate millions of dollars for the American Heart Association. These funds are utilized in our community for educational programs and research focused on the AHA mission – to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Children’s health and the childhood obesity epidemic is a crucial area of focus for the American Heart Association. It is imperative that we care for our future generations, and especially for those children who do not have access to nutritious food and safe community parks and centers in which to play and be active.

The increase of obese and overweight children is a troubling trend that could signal decades of weight-related health problems, such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. We must all be concerned for our children’s future.
