Thank you so much for visiting my personal fundraising page on behalf of the American Heart Association for the Greater Bay Area.
I am honored and excited to be a member of the Young Professional Board, with a mission to promote good health through impactful events and volunteer opportunities. Our motivation is simple – heart disease and stroke remain the #1 and #5 causes of death among all Americans, and we want to change that staggering statistic. Our members want to build healthier lives, while being socially engaged and staying active and modeling a positive lifestyle.
I am passionate about health and fitness and hope I can encourage others to find a path to their healthiest selves!
I will personally be supporting the mission of the AHA by driving individual and group events which I would love for you all to be a part of! Heart disease has personally impacted my family and impacts so many of us on a daily basis.
In the next couple of months, there are several ways you can contribute to this great cause!

On March 3rd, I will be participating in my second half marathon - the Livermore Half Marathon - in honor of loved ones who have or are suffering from heart disease. I personally will be running for my grandparents, Sadie and Tony Iovino, and my husband's brother Dan, who all suffered from heart disease and/or stroke. I would be honored to run on behalf of your loved ones as well. Please consider donating and leaving the names of any and all friends or family impacted by heart disease. I will be including the names of everyone on all of my gear on race day (shirt, hat, pants, wherever there is material!) It would also be great to see you on race day! Consider signing up - there is a race for everyone and I'd love to see you there!
